Connie Pheiff Show

Oct 31, 2017

Mike Robertson is a speaker, author, musician, storyteller and all-around creative so-and-so. His life path has led through stints as a magician, a songwriter, a pastor, a graphic designer, and a writer. His creative approach to life led him to develop the Skill / Drill / Thrill formula which he speaks about in his keynote, The Art of Readiness. A natural-born storyteller and humorist, Mike’s onstage style is warm, friendly, and spontaneous, never sounding memorized or stiff. His four books include inspirational essays, a primer on becoming more creative, and a historical novel about the birth of the motion picture business. Mike’s hold the status of the former World’s leading authority on PEZ dispensers. He and his wife, Lisa, have been married for 30 years. They have one daughter, Lindsey, who is a writer and performer in Los Angeles.

Lessons Learned:

Blaming PowerPoint for boring slides is like blaming the paintbrush for an ugly painting. Learning the potential in your slide program will allow you to conduct your audience like an orchestra, controlling their experience while adding substantial additional impact.
